Complex signals have been pre-programmed (ROM) on the GX 1010 and can be accessed as and when necessary. Up to 5 additional signals can be loaded (in RAM) from digital interfaces - RS232 or IEEE.

- Signals: Sine, square, triangle, TTL, ulse, ramp, noise, arbitrary signals etc.

The SX-GENE software extends the potential applications of the GX 1010 by exploiting all its abitrary functionalities: 

- parameter setting from a PC
- storage and transmission of the configurations to the GX 1010
- importation of signals from the GX 1010 and from OX 8000 oscilloscopes
- graphical, mathematical and bitmap processing of the wave forms
